Job Tracking

Job Cost allows contractors to track material and equipment usage, labor and subcontractor costs, and overhead expenses during the construction process.

Fully Integrated System

The system is fully integrated in real-time to the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Purchase Orders, General Ledger, Inventory Control, and Accounts Receivable modules.

Operational Highlights

  • Set up unlimited jobs and phases.
  • Break out costs for each job and phase in the following categories: labor, burden, material, equipment, subcontractor, tax, other, and user-defined.
  • Detail costs for each breakout category as follows: estimated and actual units, estimated and actual dollars, revised estimate, accrued work in process, committed dollars, and percent complete.
  • Update Job Cost from Payroll module labor hours and dollars (direct or indirect burden, union or non-union).
  • Update Job Cost from Accounts Payable module invoice costs and retainage.
  • Update Job Cost from Purchase Orders commitments.
  • Allow work in process (WIP) reporting through the General Ledger interface.
  • Update Inventory Control module quantities and costs from Job Cost.
  • Calculate Accounts Receivable module customer retainage and tax amounts based on Job Cost information.
