Inventory Management Features

End-to-End Solution

The integraSoft WEB solution provides an extensive suite of Accounting, Distribution, and Business Intelligence modules, including Inventory Management.

Replenishment Solution

The Inventory Management module is the center-piece of integraSoft Web’s replenishment solution. The parameters that determine WHEN you should order and HOW MUCH you should buy---usage rates, safety allowances, order points, line points, minimums, maximums, and standard order quantities---are calculated for all products in all warehouses at the push of a button. Tech Systems offers an extensive two-day seminar to get you started on the road to increasing your turns and optimizing your net profitability.

Cycle Counting

Counting a portion of your inventory every night is the backbone for creating the accurate computer records that every one in your company can trust. Cycle counting throughout the year replaces the expensive, and not always accurate, year-end physical inventory. You can choose the counting method that works best for your company---the traditional count of every item in your warehouse four times during the year, counting by vendor or product category groupings, or counting only fast moving products.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

Call up one query and view the overall “picture” for each product. What are the system-set purchasing controls? Is this a seasonal item? Has usage increased over the past year? Were any usage override values entered? How much stock is available in each warehouse? Are any warehouses carrying surplus stock?

Operational Highlights

  • Identify seasonal items and use the appropriate months of usage history to guide purchasing decisions.
  • Assign your inventory to one of 12 classifications according to profitability. Find out which items deserve your attention.
  • Assign your inventory to one of 4 classifications based on product “hits.” Organize your warehouse by keeping high usage items in the most convenient locations.
  • Identify your dead stock. Then move it out of your warehouse.
  • Identify unusual usage conditions such as one-time sales and quickly adjust your buying patterns. Override computer-generated usage calculations using your knowledge of unusual usage situations.
  • Track new products and product lines. Make sure your sales force is promoting new items. Return poor sellers to the vendor in a timely manner.
  • Print out a list of stocked out items on a daily basis, then take action.
  • View available surplus stock in each warehouse. Transfer stock from one warehouse to another before initiating a purchase order with the vendor. Make sure each product resides in the warehouse where it is most likely to sell.
  • Use standard industry measurements such as inventory turns, GMROI, and customer service levels to evaluate your company’s goals.
  • Save journals in a paperless format for access at a later time.
